Here’s a sample from Moon Wheel’s forthcoming new cassette through Habitat Tapes. On the evidence of the short samples embedded below – a section from each side of the tape – Olle Holmberg has opted for a less pop-inspired sound in favour of unsettling ambience. It’s not an unwelcome development. The first section sounds like a calmer, more naturalistic Pole, while the B-Side sounds like fields of robotic cicadas. You can’t go wrong.
