We know what you’re thinking: this came out last year, so why are you covering it now when [insert serious Melbourne indie rock band / Something For Kate] has just released a new album? Well, Peace Forest has just been reissued on LP by Italian label Interior Massacre, so as a consumer product it is back in circulation and thus relevant. I’m told by the enigmatic voice behind Secret Birds’ Official Though Yet To Be Verified Twitter Account (probably Damon Black, who runs this show) that the LP is due to reach Australian retailers next week.

If things that were originally released in 2011 are too passé for you, the Brisbane-based outfit also released this tape back in July BC (before Crawlspace) called In Hex, which is fairly different from what you’ll hear below, with synths playing a greater role.
