Remember that tape we reviewed a while back by Nimble Animal, the solo project of Brisbane’s Dominic Stephens from Oh Ye Denver Birds? Well here’s a new track, and it’s full of echoed synth handclaps, which is very circa-NOW. There’s also notes that sound like fairy dust homing missiles and a liberal smattering of static.

‘Magic Eyes’ is reminiscent of that feeling you get when you’ve had too much to drink and your head won’t stop spinning. No amount of imagining sheep jumping fences will fix it, so you vomit. This track is like vomiting. So three and a half stars on the Dave Stratton scale of privilege.
